restricting access

Hi there, I am wanting to build a web page which when the user tries to access the page the user has to agree to terms before the page is displayed… how do i go about doing this and how would i do it so that the user could not get around the page by simply typing in a web address of another page on the site.

Could someone please point me in the right direction, can it be done with just using javascript?

@Y_LessMay 24.2009 — This would have to be done server side, if you try do it with Javascript people can simply change or ignore the code; or have it disabled all together. You were on the right lines with the two pages thing, but on the second page you would check for a cookie or other indication that they've accepted the terms and redirect to the first page (server side) if they haven't.
