Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum and would like to greet everyone with a “Hi” ?
Following is the reason why i registered myself with this great site. (Hope i get some help here)
In my html page (actually a jsp page), the contents of the page are divided using DIV tags.
So at one point of the code, there is a parent DIV tag, under which there are two child DIV tags, each following different classes of CSS.
Eg:- <div class=”abc” id=”xyz”>
<div class=”def” id=”uvw”>
</div>
<div class=”ghi” id=”rst”>
<!– Some content –>
</div>
</div>
All the DIV tags are complemented and closed properly. In Firefox the code seems to behave just fine, but in IE at random the 2nd child DIV tag gets out of the parent DIV tag and hence the page is displayed improperly.
This is happening only randomly, but the frequency is quite high compared to the proper rendering of the page. In Firefox, this just does not happen!
Please let me know what i might be doing wrong or what i must do to solve this weird, one-of-a-kind issue.
Any help on this is hugely appreciated! Thanks a million, in advance!
