Firefox and IE positioning – not the same

Hi, Can you take a look at the above website in Firefox please? This is the positioning I want. However looking at the site in IE throws up two problems.

  • 1.

    The main content on the right has a margin-top of 125px. I need this to align it in Firefox just below the menu however IE give it another 125px??? Any ideas how to adjust this so it looks OK in both browsers?

  • 2.

    When you resize the browser window in IE the background centers itself but the content doesn’t. This is not a problem in Firefox.

    • This is a CSS positioning issue but I can’t seem to write the code I need to get it correct in both browsers.

    Other info:
    I use a PC not Mac
    It is a BuddyPress site where I am tweaking the base.css only.

    Any help much appreciated.
