picture urls showing up between pics

Hi, im new to HTML and doing some ebay listings. what it the preferred code to put between pictures so they will stack from top to bottom, rather than side to side? (ive been using <br />) that seems to work, however some of my text urls off photobucket are showing between the pictures. Thanks, Hank
