Hi, no code to post on this as it’s just a question about a principle…
I have a website intended for use by older children. Part of it requires registration, and this involves making an entry into MySQL.
Typically, the computer will be used by one person after another.
My query is, MySQL will throw an error if a previously entered first name – surname combo is entered (it’s the index), and that this would show whether someone has registered.
not maybe too crucial for kids, but a principle is a principle.
How do other people get round this?
