@KorMay 13.2009 — #No way. Excel has a lot of ready-made included calculations which are not to be seen by the user. You need the linear algebraical formula. Something like: x=(a+b*c/d)-e*f
Sometime ago I had a small quarrel with a client. He wanted me to perform in javascript a compound interest calculation for a loan, and he gave me an Excel spreadsheet. I've told him on and on that I need the linear algebraical formula, but he kept on sending me that damned Excel spreadsheet. I told him (he was a Marketing Manager ) that he should have learned about that formula in the college or Faculty of Economical studies, yet he keep on telling me that Excel was enough for him so far, and it should be enough for me as well
Finally I gave up and after a short Google I found the linear algebraical formula somewhere in a student's control paper somewhere on a university's site.?
