insert "logo.jpg" using a script in window media 9?

I have a .wmv embedded in a web page and that part is working fine but I am wondering if I can, using a script(?), insert my logo at the head so something is on the screen while the file starts caching…so the screen isn’t just black and the user thinks nothing is happening(the .wmv files range from 5-15M?. BTW – I have embedded the video without the controls and status, etc…it’s just the 320×240 window, if that makes sense.
