JavaScript Node issue

Please could anyone out there take a quick look at the following issue.
I am really new to JS and am totally out of my depth here.
As you will see i’m using Dojo toolkit and recieved some update from the guys there (who are fantastic).

The issue you will see relates to nodes (in Firebug):
