Call .js from within .inc file

Hello,

I am trying to call a .js file from w/in a .inc file. I have my index file set up with tables (left, center, right). Within each table there is an include. Those includes have “src=xx.js” on them to call the javascript file.

Do I need to have any reference to this on the body of the index file?
