Firefox, layout twitches on link click

For some reason when i click a liink on my main navigation bar or even just refresh everything seems to twitch slightly to the right and then back into place as the page changes. it looks fine in IE though. not sure if it just started this or if its been doing it the whole time but its very annoying.
