How to log in so I can make my emails forward on……

Hi, I’m hosting my site with 101 sitehosting, and whilst happy with their service I can’t seem to get a response when I ask them how I can log in so that I can alter settings such as forwarding on all the email from my wesites email so that it comes to my personal account for easier collecting.
the responce that I got at one stage which was slightly unclear did seem to indicate that this is possible, but didn’t provide any details as to what page to go to to log in or anything.

can anyone please point me in the right direction ?

@Eye_for_VideoMar 21.2009 — Well you are right in that this information will have to come from your host. When you first opened your account you should have received an email with your Critical Account Information. That would include your login info etc. Do you have login info to the CPanel or any other host interface? Forwarding may or may not be available from your host.

As an alternative you might look into configuring your email client, such as Outlook or Outlook Express to just go directly to you site and retreive your mail.... then there's no need to have your mail forwarded. The advantage is that when you "Reply to Sender" you can choose which email address will appear as the sending address. On forwarded mail "Reply to Sender" shows the address the mail was forwarded to as the sending address.

Google for "configure email client" for more info.

@carpetpaulauthorMar 25.2009 — Hi thanks for the info, I will contact my host for those log in details again. I do infact have outlook express set up to check all the addresses and bring the mails into my mail pc, however it would suit me (for the purposes of checking my emails while on the move) to be able to check the googlemail mobile website (my personal email) and be able to show all of the mails that I need.

the main reason is so that I can view all the mails, and having even viewed them online, will still be provided with those same mails on my home pc when I do check it.

Tried the other system, is it IMAP ? and it didn't suit

Can't just seem to get my email set up sorted when I want to use multiple machines, but I find that using google mobile while I'm out and about for personal is great, figured I could extend this to my business emails........just so I know what I'll be responding to when I get to home/work and I'm on my mail pc

........ and then I can (as you say) select the email address that I want to appear on the recieved mail
