Protect textbox from automation,possible?

Hi,
I want to automate some web application.But the problem is that some input text box can not be automated at all. For example i tried to automate the entire process of mailing in yahoo.But after login and pressing on compose button i can not automatically put email address in To. and CC.BCC field.But i can automatically fill up Subject textbox with the same mechanism.Now my question is,is it possible by web developer to protect automation in some text box either in HTML or java script. I dont have any idea about web developing.
Can anybody please help me.

@FangMar 11.2009 — By using method post and not get in forms, and preventing a user going directly to your form page without visiting other pages on your site first (requires server side scripting).
