Omniweb Mouse Down

Hi all.

I can provide code if necessary but first I’d like to know if my problem is typical.

I’m using document.onmousedown to run a complex script.

In Omniweb (and only Omniweb), the mousedown event isn’t firing until mouseUP.

Is this standard behavior for Omniweb? Is there an easy workaround?

@slaughtersFeb 27.2009 — So "Omniweb" is a Mac specific web browser ?

In looking through the web stats at "TheCounter" I can't even find Omniweb mentioned:

http://www.thecounter.com/stats/2009/February/browser.php

So - unless you absolutely know that a lot of people who visit your specific site use Omniweb then I would not worry that much about it.

I mean - just a quick scan of the Omniweb site shows that there are problems with supporting something as basic as window.print() ("JavaScript print links do not currently work" - http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omniweb/support/) - so I would expect further bugs and weird behavior as well.
