checkbox name contains dash – how to handle with JS?

Some checkboxes contain a dash character (“-“) in their names:
<input type=’checkbox’ name=’subidtest-script’ />”test-script”
So when I try to check/uncheck it via JavaScript…
formObj.subidtest-script.checked = foobar;
…it fails, because a JavaScript variable cannot contain a dash in its name.

How to solve this problem? The names of the checkboxes are generated automatically and it will be very difficult to change them.

That seems to fix it. Thanks!
