hi,

i have the following:

$sqlFAC = “SELECT DISTINCT TRCFAC, RBO “.
“FROM CPQ#910 LEFT JOIN NEWFACSUM1 “.
“ON TRCFAC = CLCFAC WHERE RBO Like ‘”[A-Z]%”‘ AND RBO ='”.$NIC.”‘”;
[/CODE]

i thikn something is wrong with my wildcard syntax… the A-Z part.. can someone please help?

But I think your not adding the A-Z part, try this

ON TRCFAC = CLCFAC WHERE RBO Like '[A-Z]%' AND RBO ='".$NIC."' ";

echo $sqlFAC . <br />n"; // This just prints the query to your webpage
