My form sends me blank attached files.

I have a form on a site that in addition to sending my attached documents in an e-mail to me also uploads that file to an “upload” folder (set to 777) on my server.

I have this site on two different host accounts for testing…

Host 1: PHP Version 4.4.9 – Linux

Host 2: PHP Version 4.3.11 – Linux

It works perfectly fine on host 1.

On host 2, it uploads the attached file to the root directory and not “upload” and when I receive the e-mail with the attached file, the file is blank (the document on my server, however, is not blank).

Are there common reasons why this may be happening that I can look into?

Both hosts have exactly the same files with the same content (except for the database details in the config file).

@riz-manauthorFeb 25.2009 — Host two is a Godaddy account. I've just uploaded the files on two other Godaddy hosting accounts. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with them.

Just to recap on my earlier problem...my form allows files to be both uploaded to a folder on the server and also sent by e-mail. On these Godaddy accounts, the file is not uploaded into the specified folder and the file when received in the e-mail is empty (is works perfectly fine on other hosting accounts).

Any ideas?
