How do I do this? Divs and CSS ?

Hi Guys,
Im not sure of the tech involved in this problem as I saw it on the argos site and wondered how I could do it.

When a link or button gets clicked the browser screen darkens and a small window or div appears with the info the user needs. Its very cool and saves going to another page and the user stays on the spot.

I wonder if anyone could point me to a tutorial that can teach me the basics of what id need to do or does anyone have anything similar already that I could look at?

To see what I mean look at the argos link here and add your post code into the “Check stock in your area” box and hit the small button and what it brings you is what id like to do I just dont know what its called.

Thats exactly it.

The demo on the link works a treat but when I copy and past the code into an empty page and try it its erroring out on this line

113: obj.style.height = Math.max(wh,Math.max(sh,ch))+'px';

It says 'wh' is undefined??

Have you tried this yourself?

@TagUK2006authorFeb 14.2009 — Ok I got it I just declared wh again inside the function that was calling it and its fine or seems to be.
