Change of PHP on server

Good everning:

I have recently been advised by my server that they are changing from php4.4.2 to php5.2.8.

I did not think this would have any effect on my site as I use only one or two files with php such as mailer.php but I have now noticed that the navigation table which uses SSI to insert it in a table on the left side of the page does not appear.

In it’s place there appears the following: [an error occurred while processing this directive]

I have sent a message to the server however have not had a reply yet.

Does anyone know why the change to php 5.28 should cause this problem – of course I am only assuming that this has caused the problem as the site worked correctly for many months prior to this change.

Any suggestions will be welcome

@MindzaiFeb 07.2009 — The change to PHP wouldn't, but it seems like they have also changed the server software itself, which is now using a different config.
