color attribute

hey…got a pretty straight-forward problem….i placed this style in my <head> to govern a div:
.navbartbl1
{
font-size: 20;
font-family: arial;
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}
and the font attributes change the text as expected, but the color and text-decoration are ignored…i’ve tried changing different colors, but nothing changes…..anyone have an idea why this may be? -o-0- okham

@downtimeFeb 06.2009 — Do you have any other styles set? It's possible that this is a cascading problem. For instance, if you set the properties of a div container to one thing but then have your text wrapped in another container (say p or heading tags), the second set of properties might be lower in the cascade.
