How does one disable the browser retry functionality.

I have a page with a form that is used by a dealer network to update, add, delete and sort their locations. When I am on the page and perform any of the actions above and then hit refresh, the browser says that it cannot refresh the page, only retry or cancel. The trouble is that if the user has just done a delete and the user hits retry, the page will post another attempted delete. I know this is something simple but so far I haven’t found the simple answer. Can anyone help?
