Menu bar change from static on page to inside table

Maybe someone can help me, I don’t know much about javascript but I’m moving a menu bar script(s) from our old website to a new one. The old site has the lines: var StartTop=154; and var StartLeft=202; which keeps the menu bar where it needed to be on each page of the old site. Our new site is built inside a centered table where the page content moves as the browser window size changes. I want to change the code so the menu bar is stuck inside a row on the table, and not static on the body. Can anyone help with a code for me to use to make it work? Thanks so much.

@FangFeb 02.2009 — Generally 'old' positioned JavaScript menus are very difficult to align correctly.

I would suggest you use a new, user friendly menu.
