[RESOLVED] Data Type With Date()

I know that if you use date(), supplied with the ‘g’ parameter, if will be output as a string. However, what if you’re just using date() for processing information and you’re not outputting it? Is it still considered a string?

The function returns a string, you could parse it to int if you wanted I guess...
