How to use PHP, plese help me.

I dont know the first thing about PHP, I need help being pointed in the right direction.

I want to set up my new website in a way that I can use wordpress to update things, add articles, add pictures, etc. I have a CSS template that I want to use. I would also like to be able to build user friendly websites for my clients. Ya know create them so they can log in and make simple changes to their website without my help. Can word press be used for this purpose? Do I need to create a program on the server?

So where do I start? What do I need to do first?

@beau_kangJan 27.2009 — If you are looking for them to change their own content, I would suggest creating a table in a database that pulls that information on the page and give the users the ability to update that information. If they want to control what is bold, italic, colors, or things of that nature, then would suggest looking into incorporating FCKeditor. It's lightweight, works like a Word document, and gives a pretty good amount of options for the user. You can find it here: http://www.fckeditor.net/
