tinymce alternative?

does anybody know a good lightweight html editor other than tinymce? i really dont want tinymce as it is way too heavy.

i came across a fast loading simple html editor (only 5kb) written by corpocrat ([url]http://corpocrat.com/2008/12/18/free-wysiwyg-textarea-html-editor/[/url]) and it is the best one i have seen. The problem is it only does markup in textarea.

please do you know any other editors than this? I am planning to use the editor in my forum CMS.

    @aj_nscJul 03.2009 — CKeditor (formally FCKeditor) is quite powerful and has a lot of plugins and add ons that puts it right up there with TinyMCE, if not past it depending on who you ask. The only problem is the name....
