Huge SESSION Variable

Hi,

I am working with Youtube API and an application which has pagination (10 per view) and have nearly 200 videos’ details. Video ids and relevant data are stored in arrays, and pagination refers to array index.

But as this is based on rapidly updating feed, while a user navigating through pages, data get changed. For example if user go to page 5 from page 1 and come back to page1, then there is an difference between video results two page 1’s two views.

As a solution, I am trying to first search full resultset, store that in an array in an $_SESSION variable. But element, subelement population of that array may exceed 1000..

I have no idea, how will that affect on page loading, speed, etc.

Is there any disadvantage, that I should consider and givep this. 🙂

Best Regards
