Syntaxt for .toFixed(2);

What is the proper syntaxt to use .toFixed(2) for this string?
As is it will output results as 7.72999999999999950.31

[CODE] document.FrontPage_Form1.gtot.value = (tot * 1) + (shp * 1) + (tax * 1).toFixed(2);[/CODE]

with the [B]string [/B]you get from (tax*1).toFixed(2)

Do all of the addition before you format it as a string.

Assuming all the values are digits and decimals-

[B]value=((+tot)+(+shp)+(+tax)).toFixed(2);[/B]
