[RESOLVED] Search action form not working properly

Hi there,

I’m not so good with the html stuff yet but I’m trying to redesign my research network’s beastly website.

I think I’m making progress except that I can’t get a search form we have on our website to work properly on my newly-built page. If you enter something in the search field, it doesn’t conduct the search but just takes you to the search results.

I know I’m missing some kind of code but I’m just not sure what it is.

Can anyone help?

Here’s the original version with the working search function: http://www.cyhrnet.ca/

Here’s my new version: http://www.cyhrnet.ca/index2.html

Thanks!

@CharlesJan 10.2009 — It's the least of your problems with that new version, under the hood it's worse even than the original. But your immediate problem seems to be that you've changed the INPUT element's name from "search" to "search2". The script that handles the search is, no doubt, looking for that "search" value.
