javascript menu problems

http://www.mhho.com/temp/MHHO10/MHHO10.html

That’s my new little headache. I’m trying to try something new with the menus, and I found a great step-by-step guide on how to set it up. It took some tweaking, but now it’s working. Just one problem: it only seems to work correctly in Opera browser. For some reason, the drop-downs go in different places depending on what browser I’m using.

In Opera and Firefox, they drop down under the menu, over the text below. That’s what I wanted.

In IE, the drop downs go way off outside the entire layout, so there’s no hope to ever click on anything.

If you have multiple browsers and look at the link, you’ll see what I mean. I re-read the tutorial, but it mentions nothing of this problem. It just says you need IE 5.0 or higher, which I have! If anyone can tell me what I’m doing, please let me know.

Since there’s alot of coding, I won’t post it here. But if you need to see something, just let me know and I’ll try uploading it. Thanks in advance.

@KDLADec 29.2008 — Your menu is a mess in Fx3, also. Certain items appear vertically; others, horizontally.

The coding approach used in the javascript (as well as the layout) is pretty old school. Take a look at this menu instead: http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/

It's easy to implement.

Good Luck -
