Pulling quotes automatically on a daily basis from a list.

Hey guys,

I have a page where I need to show 365 quotes. Heres the catch, each day the script should pull out a new fact from the list and put it on the page stacked on top of the pervious quote from the other day (Sometimes images might be accompanied by the quote)…IE:

March 3rd – Blah Blah Blah Blah

March 2nd – Blah Blah Blah Blah

March 1st – Blah Blah Blah Blah

Is there some code that allows you to do that? I am a designer and coding isn’t really my forte but I get around with it.

Help is much appreciated.

Thanks

@SyCoDec 23.2008 — You could do this with a flat file of quotes but it would be much easier to administrate and do with a database such as MySQL.

This would make a nice intro project to PHP/MySQL programming. Beware though, once you unleash the power of PHP you'll end up addicted like the rest of us ?
