Change relative url to absolute url

Hello all,

Before setting the innerHTML of a frame, I need to change all the relative url to absolute url. Any ideas ? The content has some relative url and some are already absolute url. I don’t want to disturb the url which are already absolute.

Thanks in advance

What absolute url do you need to add to the relative urls. If you need the current url there is a way to get the www site from the current url but if it is more complicated like you are linking several pages from other site to yours then that would be a different type of task.

Getting to the point

if you have a name to the frame us this

document.frames["iframeA"].location.href = 'http://www.somesite.com/' + document.frames["iframeA"].location.href.toString();

Success!
