division within 2 variables

Hi Developers,

i need some little help for my first small php project, a sort of mortgage calculator, the problem is that the code get stucked when it comes to perform a division within 2 variables.
//example
$final_mort= round($mort_type+($mort_type*$taxation));
$months= round($term *
12);
$monthly_payment= round($final_mort / $months);
//

the three variables values are extracted from the value of a “select” input,
everithing works cool until the $monthly_payments calculation is done, it gives m a warning telling me that i’m trying to divide it by 0.
any help please?

@ratcatemeDec 15.2008 — try echoing all the vars at the top mainly $term it looks to me like that could be 0 and causing $months to be 0 and causing the error
