Odd padding issues

Here’s the site in question: [url]http://bellevue.com/happening.php?id=1[/url]

If you look at the little search module in the left column, it appears to be farther down than the column to its left. It shouldn’t be and I have no idea what’s causing it. There’s no padding on the right column div, and my horizontal menu shouldn’t be pushing it down either. If you check it out on Firebug, there’s a space between the right col and its first child element. I have no idea what would cause that either.

Any ideas? Much thanks!

Using Firebug I found it's between rightCol and search.

I'm not sure if this will solve it, but place search before rightCol on the DOM and apply 'position: absolute'...or something like that.

eh, I tend to avoid using float...can be very picky with some browsers.
