How can I make a PHP script that will redirect to another web page after 6 seconds
I am trying to avoid using the meta refresh feature

@NogDogNov 10.2008 — A page redirect from an already-displayed page will require action on the part of the browser, not your server-side script. So all I can suggest is either a PHP header() redirect (which is really just the same thing as a meta-tag redirect), or a JavaScript window.location() called by a timer function (and with the same caveats as all JavaScript functionality).

@JustinNov 10.2008 — Yep, basically php can do it instantly with the header without any text displaied. but once the page is displaied, php is out.
