Hide/Show Menu Background? HELP

Hi All,

Im Trying to put a background image in my hideshow menu,
but i want in a special way EG

when its hidden it shows a PLUS image;
when its NOT hidden it shows a Minus image;

Any1 know how to do, My SCRIPT so far:

@PadonakNov 08.2008 — [i][b]display:none[/b][/i] shows no background and no foreground you need another element for that purpose
