Hi, everyone. My first post…

Please check out the following interface:

As far as I can tell, they used Javascript or DHTML. I’m not a very good programmer, so I was actually looking for the equivilant on different source sites so I could hopefully jsut plug it in.

Anyone have any suggestions? Desperately need help… 😮

I don't think cnet uses a generic template where you can just plug things in!

1) The interface I am refering to in the link provided is the interactive window in which a larger picture is reflected for one of the 5 thumbnails and when you roll over them, they smoothly rise and a different preview picture is loaded into the viewing window.

2) And yes, there are DHTML scripts out there that take very little work, such as slideshow type applications, and all you have to do is drop the code into an existing page (obviously a few changes have to be made). So I called that 'plugging' them in.

Therefore, I was just wondering if anyone had seen anything similar on any source sites out there.

I would recommend doing some googling for jQuery or mooTools plugins. You can use these javascript libraries to handle the plug and play approach.

When you said "interface", I thought you were referring to the entire web page.
