Submitting forms with Dynamicaly created elements

Hi,
I have a form with dropdown boxes. When I select an item in the drop down, I’ve written some JS that dyanmically creates a new drop down where the user must select an other option. I have no problem with the element creation and the code seems to be fine (when I look at it with firebug it’s ok). The problem is that the new elements are not taken into account when I submit the form. The new elements have names, values and id’s so I don’t understand why. Is there something special I need to do to have those items submitted?
