Hi there,
We have a requirement to open new links in new tabs in a new window.
Please help in implementing this.The requirement is as follows:
The UI has say one textbox and three checkboxes, say as follows :
SL# <textbox>
-cb1 <checkbox>
-cb2 <checkbox>
-cb3 <checkbox>
GO<button>
1. Enter an SL#, check cb1 and cb2, hit GO : a new window should open with two tabs.2. Enter a different SL#, check cb1, cb2 and cb3, hit GO : yet another new window should open with three tabs.
We had tried using _blank as target and as name of the window in window.open, but all that leads to either opening all the links in a new tab in the same browser, or all the links in a new window each time. We need to differentiate the windows depending on SL#.
Please advice if there is a way to do this. If the control can be passed to the new window, forcing the new tabs to get opened in a new window or so.
