Att items from html seletction list to php array

I have a html SELECTION list containing some options. To the right of the list I have a button.
Now I would like to make a function that adds the value of the selected item and puts it into a php array when the user clicks on the button.

I don´t know how to commit this.
Please, help!

@scragarOct 06.2008 — PHP does this already, just read the array from the $_POST or $_GET array, based on your submitting method
