open base url question

Hi, on my website I use this kind of path (/var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/includes/footer.php)

I went to use this same path on a subdomain, and ran into this error.
How can I fix it?

@ariellOct 02.2008 — what do your appache settings say regarding virtual hosts? Do they really treat SUBdomains like domains subordinated to your (main) domain?
