script to load playlist item

I’m a completely self-taught site designer, forced into it by Hubby buying a site so I have to learn. My site is [URL=”http://www.squirtbug.com/index.html”]http://www.squirtbug.com/index.html[/URL].

I’ve made a few videos that I’d like to put on my site. I found a good flash player, and know how to put it on my page.

My question is: I’d like to use thumbnail images of each video in a list so that the visitor can click the desired thumb, which would open a new page containing the player – and here’s the part I don’t know -and load the video so all the person had to do is click play. I guess the script would have to pick a specific item from the xml playlist.

Can this be done? If so, can you help, or point me in the direction of a tut or example that will get me going in the right direction?
