Novice looking for Simple Logon page help…

I’m a novice in HTML and even less knowledgeable in javascript but I’m trying to put together a simple website for some of my frineds and I to use… here is what I need help with:

I want to creat a single web page that asks a user to enter a password… that’s it, just a password… once they’ve entered it, I want to verify it within the HTML/javascript itself (I will be providing them with the password and plan on hard coding it right into the page itself) and then, depending on the password provided, I will direct them to the next appropriate web page…

This need not be sophisticated… this is a “for fun” website and I’m not looking for true ‘security’ with the passwords… I just want to direct each ‘user’ to a separte web page based on the password they have been given…

Can anyone help???..
