E-commerce/store solution?

I have many clients who would like to have an online store which would allow them to add items, and how users add them to a cart and then use their credit card to pay.

Problem is, I have never found a good, easy solution for this. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have heard about Zen Cart, is this good? Are their others?

Also, what options are their for credit card processing and can connect to an ecommerce solution? Paypal API is the only thing that comes to mind…

Zencart is hands down the easiest cart for most non-tech people to manage [I](from what I have found)[/I].

By the numbers the PayPal API is a great method of payment if your client doesn't have the online gateway from their creditcard processor. For volume of less or around $3,000 USD a month the rates are more than acceptable when compared to other processors fees.
