Im Stuck and I Can’t Revise!

It sounded much better than “I Need Help” … lol ?

I have an eBay store and I am trying to revise my store header. I changed out the logo image and I created clickable buttons. But now I can’t get the image to sit to the left of the buttons. I have been working on this for most of the day and now I’m at a stand still. I am afraid to work on this any further. I don’t want to completely mess this project up!

I think I have done pretty good so far, for a rookie ? , now if someone could take a look at my project and help me out, I would be eternally grateful

e.g. [B]width="50"[/B]

But using [B]inline-style[/B] CSS, you need to state a [I]unit-of-measure[/I]


style="width:50[B]px[/B];"


You have numerous instances of things like this:

<td style="width:[B]160[/B]; height:[B]55[/B];

and while a browser might correctly [I]assume[/I] that you mean & want "px", other values are:

[B]cm, ex, em, in, %, pc, pt[/B] and I am sure that there are a few more...

For CSS, you need to explicitly state everything else a browser many incorrectly 'assume' that you mean something else.

As for your problem, I'll have to have a look but you should include ALL of your code, not just '[I]the part that isn't working[/I]' because I just know that this post will not be enough to diagnose... :o

That is, everything between and including <html></html> (and, -do you have a valid !doctype with this build?)

Glancing at this, I almost think that using an "unordered list" would be easier, more efficient and a lot smaller to code. ?

"!doctype" is this thing here:

edit: oh and I just noticed; you are trying to use javascript in inline-style, which may not work anyway.

You want to close your "<style= ..." with " [B]/>[/B]" before you start stating things like "onmousedown", "onmouseover", "onmouseout" etc. and these belong in the HTML, not the inline-style...

I see NO closing " />" anywhere for any opening inline-style. Technically, you have opened these but failed to close any of them so this whole thing won't validate anyway...

-Does eBay store allow you to upload your own CSS? If it does, -may I rewrite this into a working horizontal unordered list?
