Horizontal Menu Stretching

Hi I’ve been trying to stretch a horizontal list menu to fit the edges of the header and content areas. Right now though, it only works on 1024×768, and it needs to work across all resolutions (in at least Firefox, the client actually said it’s BETTER if it doesn’t work in IE)

the web page is viewable at

@ray326Aug 27.2008 — Pull the margin off the #menu ul and add text-align:center to the #menu.

@SwizzlerauthorAug 27.2008 — no dice, without the margin it slid over to the side more and the text-align: middle just centers text, dude, I tried it, and since the element is already in #menu li It didn't appear to do anything.

I looked at it in a higher res computer today and I realized the menu bar is centered, but nothing else is! so if I can get everything else centered I should be fine.
