how can I retrieve parts returned by imap_fetchstructure()?

Hi all

I’m using imap_fetchstructure(). I made the common mistake of trying to access certain parts of what it returns as though it were an array, which of course throws up the “Cannot use object of type stdClass as array” error.

So how DO you access parts of the returned object? All I’m trying to do is find out is read the returned [‘type’] key. Why else named the returned parts (key, encoding etc) if you can’t read them back?
