RSS help

Hi,
I am making a website and have it all in html/css at the moment. I want to add a weather rss feed from a weather site, and when I go to the site, I get what looks like an html block to past in. When I try to use it it doesnt work though, it shows mostly the text I pasted on the page. I see it starts with an xml open tag. What do I have to change in either my standard html site or the code block to make it work?

@Eye_for_VideoAug 15.2008 — Not exactly sure what you are seeing but if you go to the RSS and all you see is the code (starts with an xml open tag), it's because you don't have a news reader in your browser. Most newer browsers (IE7 etc.) will come with it already installed but IE6 will not, for example. Just one of the issues you and your viewers will have to deal with if you use an RSS feed (viewer must have news reader to view).

Upgrade to a newer browser version or get a seperate news reader to view the page. Google RSS news reader, there's a bunch out there. It's also a good idea to include a note on your Web page explaining what the RSS is and that a news reader is required for viewing

@CalonDdraigAug 15.2008 — If you have the ability to run php scripts on your site's hosting account, it might be worth looking at a php rss aggregator - there are quiet a few around, and googleing should provide a healthy selection for you to peruse and if one suits, install on your site.
