Sortable lists.

I know that jQuery UI has a demo for sorting lists, but there are 2 major bugs in it. The bugs are: 1.) If you take one element off the page – it disappears. 2.) If you move all elements of one side to the other, you can not bring it back.

Fatwallet.com has a feature that allows you to rearrange your menu, then you can click “edit” then it will pop up a modal window and let move menu items in and out of the window/menu. They seem to have fixed the issue with the disappearing elements.

Another example I’ve seen has the same issues..

Anyone have either a pure JS or jQuery based drag and drop sortable list with out the bugs?
