Select/Option form customization

Does anyone have any suggestions on creating better looking select-option lists?

I HATE the grey down arrow button and the way my drop downs are formatted.

If I could emulate the mac osx drop down, that would be a start, but I am not really sure if there are special select/option CSS stylizing I could look into or not.

See the drop downs I want to fix here:

They look okay on safari/mac osx, but every other browser has that ugly grey icon. I want to change this (and the select list) to be more fluid looking.

@ray326Aug 01.2008 — You'd have to roll your own with markup, images, CSS and Javascript (i.e. DHTML) to get the kind of cross-platform control you need.
