How to avoid using eval() when mixing variable names?

I have numbered formed elements that I want to loop through to check for values, I know how to do it with eval() but I’m wondering if there’s another way.

I have 10 textbox called box1, box2, box3 etc…

var id = 1;
while (eval(“document.FormName.box”+id+”.value==’xyz'”))
{
…..
id++;
}

Thanks.
