Rounded corners on elements using css?

Hi everybody, im new to the markup world and was just wondering if there is a css method for rounding corners on elements such as div, and tables.
I know of a hack but i think it looks horrible and its not the angle i want to take also i cant write javascript, so i dont kno what else to do.
Any advice would be great
